This is the sixth Express Entry draw of the month. It follows previous rounds held on June 23 for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates, June 12 for CEC candidates, and a smaller PNP draw on June 10.

So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 41,845 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system.

This year, most of the draws have focused on PNP candidates. The remaining ITAs have been given to CEC candidates, those with strong French-language skills, and applicants in key occupational categories under the Express Entry system.

Are CEC Draws Becoming More Frequent?

Interestingly, this is the second CEC draw in back-to-back weeks, something that hasn’t happened since early February. From February to early June, IRCC mainly held draws for PNP candidates and a few category-based selections, which involved smaller numbers of ITAs.

This new CEC draw, with a relatively large number of invitations, may be a sign that IRCC is shifting toward more regular and larger CEC-focused draws. However, it’s still too soon to say whether this trend will continue in the coming weeks.
