Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new round of invitations under the Express Entry system, issuing 356 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates from the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
To be eligible for this latest draw, candidates needed to meet two key requirements:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 750
- A completed Express Entry profile submitted before 4:09 a.m. (UTC) on March 19, 2025

This marks the first Express Entry draw of July and follows a pattern of recent selections. Previous draws in June included a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on June 26, another PNP-specific draw on June 23, a CEC draw on June 12, and a smaller PNP round on June 10.
So far this year, IRCC has issued a total of 42,201 ITAs through the Express Entry system.
Focus of Express Entry in 2025
Throughout 2025, most draws have been targeted at PNP candidates. The remaining invitations have been distributed among CEC candidates, individuals with strong French-language abilities, and candidates who fall under Express Entry’s specific priority categories.

Express Entry Draw Trends
Since mid-May, IRCC has maintained a steady pattern alternating between CEC and PNP draws. Only one category-based selection draw has taken place in this period. This consistent approach suggests that IRCC may continue following this trend for the coming months.
The latest data on the Express Entry pool also shows a decline in candidate profiles with CRS scores above 600 and in the 501–600 range. This is the first noticeable drop in these score brackets in at least six months, largely influenced by the regular rhythm of targeted draws.
