Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another round of invitations under the Express Entry system, this time targeting Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.
In the latest draw, IRCC issued 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to eligible candidates from the CEC category. To receive an invitation in this round, applicants were required to have:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 518, and
- An Express Entry profile submitted before 1:48 a.m. UTC on October 2, 2024.

This is the second Express Entry draw of July, following a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw held on July 7. Prior to this, a CEC draw took place on June 26, and another PNP draw occurred on June 23.
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 45,201 ITAs through various Express Entry draws.

Throughout the year, the majority of draws have been PNP-focused. The remaining invitations have been issued to candidates under the Canadian Experience Class, French-language proficiency stream, and priority occupation categories. Recently, IRCC has adopted a consistent pattern of alternating PNP and CEC draws every two weeks, indicating a structured approach in managing Canada’s immigration intake.
