The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has conducted another round of invitations, focusing on candidates working in the health care sector.
On June 3, 2025, Alberta invited 36 immigration candidates who had valid job offers from Alberta-based health care employers. This draw was conducted under the Express Entry-aligned Dedicated Health Care Pathway and marks the sixth health-focused draw held by the province this year.
To receive an invitation in this round, candidates needed to meet a minimum score requirement of 60 points.

Eligibility for the Health Care Pathway
Candidates were only considered if they had: A valid job offer from an Alberta employer in one of nine eligible health care professions, Proof of eligibility to practice from the appropriate regulatory authority in Alberta, An active Express Entry profile and met the requirements of at least one of the federal Express Entry programs, A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 300, and a clear intent to live and work in Alberta.

Candidates were also required to have their primary occupation listed in their Express Entry profile match one of the eligible health care roles.
Alberta’s 2025 Nomination Figures
In 2025, Alberta received a total of 4,875 provincial nomination spaces from the federal government. As of now, 2,276 nominations have been issued through various AAIP streams and pathways.

Application Processing Update
Currently, the AAIP is processing 116 applications that were submitted on or before April 10, 2025.
